Jan Valik (b. 1987) is a London-based artist whose practice explores painting as a psychological and metaphysical space shaped by ambiguity, emotion, and otherness. Bridging abstract and landscape traditions, his work draws on alchemical transformation and philosophical influences, creating layered environments where external worlds meet internal experience.

He holds an MA in Fine Arts from the Academy of Fine Arts in Prague (2012) and an MA in Painting from the Royal College of Art (2024), following the Turps Banana Studio Programme in London (2022).
